Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Surface Preparer for a temporary one-week position. The role primarily involves preparing concrete surfaces for various projects by grinding concrete floors, cleaning, and performing necessary prep work. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in concrete surface preparation and be capable of working efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize provided equipment to grind concrete floors to the desired smoothness or texture.
• Clean concrete surfaces thoroughly to remove debris, dirt, and other contaminants.
• Perform prep work such as filling cracks, repairing imperfections, and leveling surfaces as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to accomplish project goals within designated timeframes.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition by cleaning and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in concrete surface preparation or a related field preferred.
• Ability to operate grinding machines and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of basic concrete construction techniques and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with precision.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Additional Information:

• This is a temporary position lasting one week, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
• Equipment necessary for the job will be provided.
• The job will start Tuesday, April 30th.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
